I’ve camped Eastern Shadow and Wyvernpoacher Drachlox now, and I have a few things to say about NM camping.
- Please stop talking to me if I haven’t ever seen you before until now. I’m doing other things, and I have no interest in talking to you, or your efforts to try and distract me.
- You are really not fooling anybody if for sixteen hours you’re not moving and not killing placeholders, but magically come alive the moment Eastern Shadow pops.
- Yes, I’m camping Wyvernpoacher Drachlox. No, you casting Sneak and Invis and going off to fight the placeholder mobs elsewhere is not going to stop me from watching you kill them so I know when repops are.
- The only placeholder mob for Eastern Shadow is the Ranger. The only placeholder for Wyvernpoacher is the Goblin Mercenary. Killing other mobs makes you look stupid, and gives the appearance you have no idea what you’re camping.
- Yes, believe it or not, I have a general idea how to camp NMs and try to know their spawn conditions as best as possible. You dragging in a Ranger from another room and killing it in the NM room is not going to trick me.
- No, I have no interest in teaming up with you for your TH1 (Treasure Hunter trait level 1), especially after I claimed the mob. In fact, I generally don’t have any interest in teaming up with you at all.
- I have no idea why you insist on checking me no less than fifteen times while I’m camping, but my gear doesn’t switch that much, especially when I’m solo and camping something.
- Why do you care if I got the drop or not? Is it really going to stop you from coming next time if I didn’t?
I think the /checking is to make sure you’re not swapping to AGI rings or something while they aren’t looking.
Nah, I have no idea why people do it but it’s happened to me a bunch of times and it’s pretty damn irritating.
Also, the cool thing about the Kupopowers (sp?) is that you get free TH1 sometimes now w/ any sub.
